Gi-Emme tells a story of entrepreneurial pioneering. In 1977 Gi-Emme was the first company in Italy to develop competences and a manufacturing process for the specialized production of coloring products for adhesive tapes. Thanks to the experience gained in pigments chemistry, Gi-Emme was able to succeed and grow over the years, addressing also international markets and constantly widening the offering portfolio.
Today, Gi-Emme is still at the forefront, innovating product and manufacturing process, with passion and professionalism.

Leveraging competences and experience gained, Gi-Emme enters the printing inks market
Following from a renovation in the shareholding structure, Gi-Emme builds a new production line dedicated to coloring masterbatches, quickly establishing a leading position in the Italian market
Gi-Emme pursues a commercial strategy of international expansion towards the rest of Europe an the whole world, becoming a reference also for foreign leading adhesive tapes manufacturers
In order to follow market demand and scale-up the printing inks production, Gi-Emme operates a renovation of the solvent and inks production line with state-of-the art equipment, that guarantee advanced manufacturing techniques and a more time-saving, flexible, reliable production

The efforts of Gi-Emme are also directed to the environment. A 66 kWp photovoltaic system installed on the rooftop of the main facility, currently produces around 60% of the company’s electricity demand.
Gi-Emme has long implemented a “no-waste” approach in the usage of raw materials, embracing the concept of “circular factory”, that is based on the recovery and re-usage of production scraps generated at every stage of the manufacturing process. The care towards the environment that Gi-Emme puts into practice is reflected also in the highly competitive prices offered on the market, thanks to the exceptional production efficiency attained.
